Parade & Festival in Tribute to Those Who Serve

This Annual event takes place in June and gives us a way to honour and give thanks to a variety of people, groups and organizations in our community. Parade participants include: Members of the Military, current and veterans, first responders, police, cadets, bands, politicians and members of various volunteer-based organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts and Girl Guides. This event is a community favourite and is always a pleasure to put on

The day starts at 11:00am with our Annual Parade in Tribute to Veterans and Those Who Serve. The parade starts at Stevens Road United Baptist Church, down Tacoma Drive and finishes in the Sobey’s Parking lot. Following the parade is a short ceremony where we officially thank the parade participants for their contributions of serve to the community.

From 12pm to 2pm, is the Tribute Festival. We will have lots of FREE activities for everyone including: bouncy castles, face painting, balloon animals, games, entertainment, carnival games, fire truck, food trucks, Sit & Chat with Veterans and lots more!
